The Company of Saint Dominic, as a dominican secular institute in the making, is under the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila and is spiritually guided and cared by the Congregation of the Dominican Sisters of Saint Catherine of Siena - Philippines (Formerly: Beaterio de Santa Catalina de Sena in Intramuros). Our spirituality and formation is full - dominican. Members of this institute goes on a process of formation before taking the final vows (for vowed members) or pledge (for associates)
Initial Formation: usually lasts three to six months.
Temporary Incorporation: After a long time discernment, the candidate, upon the approval of the Supreme Moderator and the Council may take temporary profession, renewable annually for five to seven years.
Definitive Incorporation: After a long process of formation, and the candidate, who, according to his/her free will, decided to take up the way of life which the Institute prevail, may take definitive or perpetual profession in the Company of Saint Dominic.
As Dominican in spirit, we uphold the four pillars of the Order of Preachers.
 PRAYER Prayer is not so much of a duty or a habit, but a privilege and gift, rather a problem or a result of one's effort, "persevere in prayer at the hours and times appointed" |  STUDY The Study of Sacred Truth is essential, dominicans ought to develop spiritual life through assiduos study of saving truth. |
 COMMUNITY A member of the Company of Saint Dominic lives in an authentic and genuine fraternal communion with the members according to the spirit of beatitudes in one heart and one soul. |  APOSTOLATE The apostolate of the members includes their entire lifestyle, their occupation or service to the mother Church within the context of a secular environment and in relationship with their relationship with family, friends, and colleagues. |
